The atelier, live
On the hook right now
Every piece is made by one pair of hands, in a century-old teak house over the sea. While a piece is being made, Sunisa posts notes and photos for its owner; this page is the atelier's window, updated as she works.
The island keeps its own hours; this is the light on the work now.
The same sun runs the Tide Almanac; every colour here is named for a place on the Naming Map.
The hook rests today, which never lasts long. When a piece is on the hook, its owner sees a note and a photo here for every session — the dyeing, the first rows, the finish. Until then the shutters are open and the sea under the floor keeps the time.
