Andaman Thread is a small, family-run studio in Koh Lanta, Krabi, Thailand, run by Sunisa and Misha. We are the controller of the personal information described here. We keep this simple and collect only what we need to make and send your order. Questions or requests: atelier@andamanthread.com.

What we collect, and why

• Order and payment. Payment is processed by PayPal; we never see or store your card details. To fulfil a completed order we receive your name, email, and shipping address. We process this to perform our sales contract with you.
• Email. Used to confirm your order and send shipping updates, on the basis of our contract with you.
• The List. If you join our list, we store your email to send occasional updates, on the basis of your consent. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time, or by writing to us.
• Saved designs. If you email a design to yourself from the customizer, we store your email and the design so we can send it, and you join the List (unsubscribe anytime).
• Basic analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that count aggregate visits and page views. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not run advertising trackers. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the shop, and share only what each one needs:

• PayPal, for payment. PayPal also supplies us your name, email, and shipping address.
• Resend, to send your order and shipping emails, and to store your email if you join the List.
• Cloudflare, for hosting, security, and the cookieless analytics.
• Thailand Post and international carriers, who receive your name and address to deliver your parcel.

Where your information is handled

We operate from Thailand, and some of our providers process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where your information is transferred outside your country, we rely on those providers' standard safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep order records only as long as we need them to fulfil your order and to meet tax and accounting duties, after which they are deleted. List emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your information, or object to a particular use. To exercise any of these, email atelier@andamanthread.com and we will respond promptly. If you are in the UK, EU, or Thailand, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use no cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking, and our analytics is cookieless. Any cookies are strictly functional.

Children

Our shop is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
