The Private Commission
A piece that begins
as a conversation.
The customizer offers our shapes in your colours. A private commission starts earlier than that: with the life you need the piece to live, and a maker who has spent years listening to cotton. You write, Sunisa replies, and between you a bag takes shape that has never existed before and never will again.
How it unfolds
- The letter. Tell us below what the piece is for: what it will carry, the colours you live in, a bag you loved once and lost. A few sentences is enough.
- The conversation. Sunisa reads every letter herself and replies within two days. Questions go back and forth until the piece is clear to you both.
- The proposal. You receive a sketch of the design, the exact price, and an honest timeline. Most commissions fall between $450 and $900 and take three to five weeks. Nothing is owed and nothing begins until you love it; a half deposit by PayPal invoice starts the work.
- The making. Your commission gets its own journey page, with notes and photographs from the atelier as it grows, and its own permanent certificate when it ships. While the Founding Twenty-Five is open, a commission carries a founding number like any piece.
