The Long Beach

Open-Net Beach Sling

$145

Named for Phra Ae, the long pale beach the island is known for. The bag for the market, the boat, the beach: an open net that stretches to hold more than it should, then folds to nothing when the day is done. Made in five colourways, and each colourway is a single piece: when it finds its home, it is gone.

The colourway

Each colourway is a single piece. When it finds its home, it is gone.

One of a kind, ready to ship. The exact piece pictured; only one exists in each colourway. Ships from Koh Lanta in 2 to 4 days.

Shipping & duties
  • Australia. 4 to 6 business days. A single piece sits under the AUD 1,000 import threshold, so it should arrive with no duty or GST to pay; a courier may still charge a small disbursement fee. Anything charged is set by Australian customs, not by us.
  • United States. 3 to 6 business days. Since 2025 the US charges import duty on most parcels from abroad, whatever their value; the carrier usually collects it before delivery. The figure is set by US customs, not by us, and buyers of goods like ours have typically seen charges between roughly a tenth and a third of the price. It is the buyer’s responsibility, and we would rather say so here than surprise you at the door.
  • United Kingdom. 3 to 6 business days. Expect UK import VAT of 20 percent plus a small carrier handling fee, collected before delivery. The buyer’s responsibility, stated plainly here first.
  • Europe. 3 to 6 business days. Expect your country’s import VAT (typically 19 to 25 percent) plus a small carrier handling fee, collected before delivery. Pieces over EUR 150 may also attract a modest customs duty on textile bags (a few percent). The buyer’s responsibility, stated plainly here first.
  • Rest of world. 5 to 10 business days. Any local duties or taxes are collected by your customs or carrier and are the buyer’s responsibility. If you tell us your country before ordering, we will tell you honestly what to expect.
